The NRC is now recommending that "policymakers, universities, and employers should work together to speed the development" of these PSM graduate programs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The NRC developed a report that urges Congress to fund a graduate program at the National Science Foundation.  The report also suggests that other major federal science agencies should foster the growth of these PSM programs.
